Governing Body

The Governing Body of Coombe Secondary Schools is responsible for Coombe Boys’ School and Coombe Girls’ School which were federated in January 2006 under one Headteacher, Carol Campbell. The Governors have a strategic role supporting the Head and her Senior Leadership teams in their management of the schools. Currently, there are 21 governors and one associate member, who represent the school, local authority, community and the parents.

The full Governing Body, which includes the Headteacher, meets once in each school term. The Deputy Headteachers may also attend, acting as advisors. Copies of the agenda and minutes are available on request from the clerk. Committees have been established to deal with the various work of the school. These committees include:

- Chairs
- Curriculum
- Finance and Resources
- Health and Safety
- Pastoral

- Pay and Conditions

The term of office for each Governor is 4 years. Parent Governors are elected by the parents of the school that they represent. The Clerk, Chair, Vice Chairs and Parent Governors are listed below:-
