Coombe Boys' School claim two huge Surrey Basketball trophies

The u13 team had an unbeaten season with MVP Marcus King Danchie racking up important points to secure a perfect season.  Well done to all involved.

The u19 team beat St Andrews in their final game of the season with an outstanding performance at Surrey Sports Park in Guildford.  Cuba Parris and Blu Parris piling up the points after St Andrews hit an amazing five consecutive 3 pointers in the first ten minute period.

Sessegnon Brothers secure first professional contracts.

Why have one Sessegnon at the club when you can have two ?  Coombe boys’ Alumni Ryan and Steve Sessegnon have finally confirmed their first FFc contracts. It’s been an exciting year for both of them with Ryan grabbing the headlines; I certainly would like to be involved in that family debate of who’s the best footballer in the family!!

The year 9 team have reached the surrey semi finals v fullbrook. Congratulations to all involved.

Two year 9 pupils selected for England training camp.

Congratulations to Rafael Garcia and Harvey Elliott in year 9 who have been selected for England Training camps.

John Boyton ‘Olympian’ visit to school

Olympian John Boyton took time out of his hectic training schedule and returned to coombe as part of the skysports living for sport programme, John has had several days over the years with us and was delighted to engage in leadership ideals with our top year 9 pe students.

Coombe Boys School Host epic Primary Table Tennis event

Mr Paliotta was again delighted to extend an invitation to Kingston Schools Sports Partnerships and host the entire primary school table tennis event.  The sport is growing in popularity in London schools and at Coombe it is the number one attended club this year. 

NFL @ Coombe Boys' School as year 8 enjoy an entire day of sport

Coombe Boys School PE department continue their quest to engage as may pupils through sport as possible with a year 8 Coombe learner Profile day.  All 147 pupils took part in NFL ( thanks to the Jacksonville Jaguars) food technology, Lifesaving, Enterprise business challenge, anatomy & physiology in the weights room.

U14 lose the Surrey Cup Final to Carshalton Boys’ Sports College at Sutton United

The u14 football team ran out of luck in the Surrey Cup Final losing to a treble winning Carshalton team.  It was an excellent effort throughout the campaign.

U15 Tennis lose to ‘champions’ again

The u15 tennis team lost to undefeated champions St Johns Leatherhead in the quarter finals of the Surrey Cup doubles.  It is the second season running that the eventual surrey champions have to dig deep and overcome underdogs coombe boys.
