Coombe Boys' School Extra Curricular Activities
“Let us challenge your son’s talents, nurture his interests - and inspire the discovery of new ones as he prepares himself for a world of opportunity.”
It is our aim to provide your son with a broad and well-rounded education that prepares him not only for academic and career success but also to live life to the full as a confident and independent adult. We therefore place a high value on extra-curricular activities.
We offer an exceptional range to stretch and challenge your son’s capabilities and talents, inspire him to develop his current leisure interests and explore new ones. Academic, artistic, sporting and general interests can all be pursued: there is also the opportunity to undertake the Duke of Edinburgh Award and for outdoor activity through the Combined Cadet Force.
In the Sixth Form emphasis is placed on developing knowledge about careers, higher education and business awareness amongst students. By years 12 and 13, students are becoming more and more involved in the leadership of clubs and activities. From sport, music and technology to drama, world cultures and service to the community: your son will find both the opportunities and the encouragement to pursue them all here at Coombe Boys' School.
