It was a pleasure to welcome author Joe Wilson to school on Friday for our annual Big Read event. He talked to the whole of year 7 about his brilliant book 'The Island That Didn't Exist' and about the importance of creativity and imagination.⠀ ⠀ Some lucky students were then selected to take part in creative workshops in which Joe Wilson challenged them to create their own mysterious island and fill it with things they love.
