On Wednesday, our Year 7 EPQ boys took centre stage as they presented their projects to an audience of proud friends and families. After a term of research, planning and exploring topics they were passionate about, the boys confidently shared their findings, answered questions and showcased the curiosity, creativity and independence that make the EPQ such a valuable experience. A huge well done to all of our presenters for their hard work, courage and commitment. We are incredibly proud of the way they embraced the challenge and demonstrated our values of Excellence, Ambition and Integrity. 🏆Last week, we came together in Barton Hall for our annual Prize Giving ceremony. Despite the soaring temperatures, it was a spectacular evening celebrating the achievements of our students. We were delighted to welcome Margaret Hunnaball, Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees for the Coombe Academy Trust, who presented the awards and shared the inspiring story of her own educational journey, including how she discovered her passion for hockey umpiring - taking it to world class level. This week, the Thrive Cafe opened its doors for the first time with our brilliant Year 8 boys running the show.
